We communicate updates related to the WHO treaty and the IHR via the news page. As we are a very small team without professional translators, these updates will be english only.

The explosive nature of the WHO pandemic treaty and the International Health Regulations (IHR) has not changed. The lack of attention due to the lack of media coverage of the issues works in favor of the WHO and to the detriment of the freedom of the people in the WHO member states.

In May 2024, the vote on the pandemic treaty failed and was postponed to May 2025. Negotiations have resumed. If this treaty is approved as planned in the World Health Assembly in May 2025, it must be adopted domestically in the member states in accordance with the applicable rules.

The media is currently only referring to the pandemic treaty, which must be seen as a diversionary tactic. With regard to the pandemic treaty, the states still have the option of applying their own national rules after confirmation in the World Health Assembly.

This is different for the IHR, as the relevant amendments were adopted in May 2024. This means that they will be applicable nationally after the deadline without further negotiations and without further steps by the individual member states.

Individual member states have until June 2025 to object to the IHR. If no objection is raised, the amended IHR will enter into force in September 2025.

On the part of the WHO, there are repeated statements about so-called misinformation by critics of the agreements and reference is made to information available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and WHO. However, the statements there are largely empty, distracting and reassuring.

There is therefore still an urgent need for action.
